June’s Nest is my cozy corner for curiosity, creativity, and connection. Inspired by my grandmother June, it’s where I reflect on social work, personal growth, and life’s little experiments. Like a bird building a nest, I fill this space with intention, warmth, and the joy of embracing the extra. Right now, we are hatching “Purpose Takes Shape,” a blog series where I interview people in micro, mezzo, and macro roles across social services, reflecting on their journeys and growth along the way.

Hi, I’m Courtney, an MSW student who believes growth happens in small, intentional moments. My journey has been shaped by life experiences, motherhood, my education, and the work I’ve done helping others. Somewhere along the way, I realized I’d spent so much time caring for everyone else that I needed a space to reconnect with myself.
